Chicago, The Avengers & Me!
WELL…finally. Sorry for the extremely long break there. Moving to Chicago was slightly more time consuming than what I anticipated. I’m still unpacking boxes but my apartment is livable…so BACK TO WORK.
This past Sunday night I decided to take a break from moving madness and go see The Avengers in the 3D!!! Judging from the box office numbers, chances are you have already seen this movie. So what did you think? Highlights for me (No spoilers, I promise)!
-
Humor – seriously this movie was shockingly funny…like laugh out loud funny most of the time.
-
Cobie Smulders – I’m a HUGE How I Met Your Mother nerd. So…seeing Aunt Robin doing crazy action movie stunts just made me happy. And jealous. Ok…MOSTLY jealous.

-
Action – IT DOES NOT STOP. SO MANY SUPERHEROES DOING SO MANY THINGS.
Really, my only complaint was that I thought it ran a LITTLE long…but I’m choosing to not blame this on the movie and will just blame it on my exhaustion from moving. Anyway, this is a movie that is well worth whatever you spend to see it in the theater. I don’t say that often…but seriously.
I’ll get back to gaming and video blogging SOON. My internet is getting all installed and stuff tomorrow. HOORAY!

If it makes you feel any better, the original cut was 3 hours. Wheedon had to get it down to a bearable time.
Yikes! It really wasn’t terribly long..I was just tired enough to notice it wasn’t short….
Did you stay for the last scene after the credits? I liked it, but I had wait through eleventy minutes of credits.
We did wait to see the final clip! However, I’m not well-versed in all Marvel lore so Matt had to explain the importance of it to me. Still, it looked cool!
You understand shwarma. And the fact that its sales have like doubled nation wide.
